On Monday Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, published a story about how he was accidentally invited into a group chat on Signal where top defense and intelligence officials planned a military strike on Yemen.
As always, thanks for doing this. The whole thing sickened me...but didn't surprise me. Probably the most triggering thing was when Watters described it as a "wee little leak of classified information" or words to that effect. Are you kidding me??? This is pretty much why I'm on FB these after being politically silent for 8 years. This shix is dangerous now...when they put rookies in charge of our country.
Amazing work as always. Thank you for your service!
As an additional note, the term "home brewed" is pretty common in tech to refer to software or a server that was "whipped up" at home, as opposed to a managed server or software that you paid for. I doubt he actually knows that—he was probably fed the term by a staffer—but it's not totally crazy to refer to a personal email server as a "home brew". But it doesn't make sense for *Hillary's* server to be called that, since she definitely didn't write her email software in-house!
Here's the context. Watters has mentioned Hillary Clinton's email server for years now. I have clips of him talking about it that go back from 2022. He just now added "Home brew" and this is how he used it. "Her home brewed server". He didn't say whipped up. He also didn't say it was a home brew he used the past tense "Home brewed." He just added that for the first time I've ever heard him talk about it last week. I have clips that go back again for three years and he never used "Home brewed" before. He also consistently refers to it as "acid washed" which makes no sense as her attorney used a free software called BleachBit to wipe her hard drive clean. There was no acid. Trump has used the term acid washed. He has also said in the past that she had "Millions of documents in her home." and that she had "tens of thousands of classified documents on her hard drive or server." None of that is true. He has no idea what he's talking about. He added "Home brewed" completely out of nowhere. I've never heard anyone on Fox News refer to her server as "Home brewed" until he said it.
Thank you for helping me laugh at the f*cking news. Hearing the spin on the right without HAVING TO ACTUALLY LISTEN TO IT
Those merit-based hires are really screwing up.
As always. The BEST Podcaster.

Surprised Waters even knows the term "homebrewed". Last I heard the term is hacking video game consoles to play video games.
Thinking about it, maybe the Jeffery Goldberg invite was meant for Jonah Goldberg who wrote the right-wing screed "Liberal Fascism"
