IF they read what we read then yes — we could ascribe racism at their driving force. But since they only hear stories about the benevolence of GOP leaders and the horror of Biden/Harris — all rooted in twisted truth, their motivations have origins of slick deception. As a lifelong Pennsylvanian, I think we purposefully have odd pronunciations of our towns to know who's from out of town.
Someone commented that she butchered it so I tried my best on that one. I found more than one pronunciation online which was even goofier.
